U17 County All-Ireland Final

Wishing the u17 county team, management and backroom team the very best of luck in the All Ireland Final on Sunday. Especially to our own players on the team Ciaran, Darragh, Pearse, Paul, Billy and Shane.

Breakfast before the game

As there are only a very limited number of tickets available for the u17 All Ireland Final and so many people would like to support the team, the club have decided to try and create an atmosphere and show our support for the team by serving breakfast on Sunday morning at 11am and showing live coverage of the match at 12 noon in the clubhouse. Breakfast will be €10 for adults and €5 for U16's.  In order to have an idea of numbers for breakfast can anyone interested please text your name and how many will be attending to the club phone 0877438649 by Thursday evening.

U12 Boys

Our U12 lads had a busy schedule with three games played this week, Firstly our Division 1 team travelled to Knockcroghery on Thursday evening to take on St Dominic's.This game was played in windy conditions and after a bright opening by our lads the home team got on top to run out winners. Credit to our lads who battled hard throughout.

Our second game saw our Division 5 team host Clan na Gael on Friday evening. This was a difficult game for our lads against a very strong Clan team who were comfortable winners on the evening. Once again the lads kept tying to the end.

Our third game featured the Division 1 team who played Roscommon Gaels on Saturday in Kiltoom in a very entertaining game. The first half opened with the gaels getting a few early scores but Brigid's settled and struck for some fine scores. it was all square at half time.
The lads stuck with the task at hand and played great kick passing football. Our lads tired coming into the closing stages and Roscommon Gaels got some quickfire scores to close out the game.
With a lot of the younger lads drafted in for this game they have certainly staked their claim for starting places the next day with the commitment shown.

Squad used for three games was

Conal Benton, Killian Curley, Niall Derwin, Robert Keenan, Ryan Lawless, Bryan McDermott, Cormac Meeley, Sean Minnock,Brendan Murphy, Luke Sylvester, Billy Ray Dolan, Charlie O'Carroll, James O'Rourke, Andrew Sheffield, Noah Heavey, Jamie Fox, Finnan Kilcommins, Jack Tully, Owen Feeley, Adam Feeley,  Jack Kinahan, Roan Trundle, Kian Mulligan, Jimmy Carney and Niall Daly.
