****Recruiting Actors Now********

St. Brigid’s GAA Club are doing major improvement of our facilities including installing flood lights on our third pitch, building a weights room and upgrading of our dressing rooms. These enhancements will greatly improve our grounds.

To help towards these investments we are running a fundraising event “A Night at the Oskars” on Saturday 9th June in the Hodson Bay Hotel.

This involves producing 7 movies of ten-minute duration which will be then screened on the night.

We are now looking for volunteers to take part in this fundraising event.

No acting experience is required, the production company will provide scripts and some training for everyone.

This is guaranteed to be fun for all involved.

St. Brigid’s GAA Club hope that with your help we can make the St. Brigid’s Oskar’s a huge success.

If you would be interested in getting involved or would like more information please contact: Gerry (086)8103665, Áine (086)3791294.

If you would like to get a better idea of what is involved, please check out:

Club AGM

The reconvened Club AGM took place last Friday night. There was a great turnout for the election of officers and executive committee for 2018. We would like to thank everyone that attended the meeting. If anyone would like to get involved in the club either on committees or coaching please contact any club member.

Operation Transformation

The club is running Operation Transformation which started Monday 8th January at 8pm. We will have walks in the club every evening at 8pm and some light exercises to do on specific evenings. Don't be afraid to come along and join in at any stage. Spread the word and Children are welcome.
As part of Operation Transformation there is an initiative to light up grounds for walks every Monday from Monday 22nd Jan to Feb 26th February, St. Brigid’s will be taking part in this initiative but we would also like people to be aware that our walking track is fully lit every evening from dusk to enable everyone to make full use of our walking track.
