St. Brigid's Golf Classic

The Hodson Bay hotel sponsored St. Brigid’s annual golf classic is on this Friday 22nd July in Athlone Golf Club. 
This yearly event has proven to be an enjoyable day out for all patrons in the wonderful surroundings of Athlone Golf Club. If you would like to enter a team (timesheet in operation) or sponsor a tee, please contact P.J. Martin on 086-8053037 or 090 6494402.  Entry fee for a team of 4 made up of men/women or mixed is €200 with a meal included. Sponsorship of a tee is €100. We would like to thank everyone that supported this event in the past and hope that you will continue to support us this year.


Summer Camps

Started last Monday 11th July 2016, with week 1 being the Kellogg's GAA Cul Camp which is exclusively GAA and the second week having a variety of GAA sports and other fun activities. Camps run from 9.30-2pm daily. Cost per week is €40 for one child, 2 children €60 and 3 children €80. Children must be of school going age. Club Shop

The club shop is open every Friday from 8-9pm. 
A new supply of club crested gloves have arrived and are available for purchase.

Super Valu GAA Kits for Kids

Super Valu in Monksland are running their GAA Kits for Kids promotion again. When you spend €40 or more in store you will be given a token simply place it in the St.Brigid's box to help win an O'Neill's kit for our players. 
Promotion ends 30th July.

Up for the Match

Many thanks to all that helped out with Shannonside fm's Connacht Final special Up for the match. It was a huge success and a great night was had by all. 

U10 Boys

U-10s: The U-10s had their first match in Round 1 of the Tormey’s Tournament versus St. Dominic’s in Knockcrioghery on Monday 4thJuly 2016. It was a good session for both teams who played well.

U-10 blitz in Padraig Pearse's on Saturday 9th July was cancelled due to weather.

U14 Boys

Division 1 Championship

Our McGorisks Pharmacy sponsored u14 team recorded a victory over Boyle in the championship on Thursday night last.

U16 Boys 

Division 1 Championship

St. Brigid's 2-9, Strokestown 1-4.

U16s got off to a winning start to the Div1 championship last Wednesday against Strokestown in Strokestown.

The u12 girls championship came to an end last Sunday  , when our brave Div 1 team  were beaten in the county final by neighbours clann na ngael . These wonderful girls were narrowly beaten just by 2 points, They played their hearts out till the final whistle, Final score :
