U-10: We had two blitz over the June bank holiday weekend, first was a Go Game Blitz in Clan na ngael on Saturday May 30th. We fielded three teams on the day, teams 2 and 3 were very competitive throughout, with team 1 having a mixed day.
On Monday June 1st we
travelled to Kilmacud Crokes in Dublin. We had a very enjoyable day in what was a very well organised tournament. Two teams took to the field with the 9's performing excellently throughout and after a slow start in the opening games the 10's improved significantly were more competitive and finished strong.
Panel members who featured in both blitz,

Conal Benton, Jimmy Carney, Killian Curley, Niall Daly, Niall Derwin, Billy Ray Dolan, Daniel Egan, Adam Feeley, David Fox, Jamie Fox, Noah Heavey, Michael Henehan, Robert Keenan, Jack Kinahan, Bryan McDermott, Paul McManus, Cormac Meeley, Conor Minagh, Sean Minnock, Brendan Murphy, Thomas Muldoon, Charlie O'Carroll, Donnchadh O'Reilly, James O'Rourke, Andrew Sheffield, Luke Sylvester, Sean Tiernan, Roan Trundle, Jack Tully.

U12 Boys Division 4 League Final

Commiserations to our Division 4 team who were defeated by Clann na Gael in Knockcroghery on Sunday last on a score line of 2-5 to 1-5. In a well contested game, Clann nosed in front at half-time, leading by 1-4 to 1-1. Four unanswered scores from Brigid's looked set to tee up the game for an exciting finish but the lads were rocked by a Clann goal which ultimately proved the difference between the sides in the end. St Brigid's had plenty of possession but a watertight Clann defence closed down attack after attack in the second half. Well done to all of our players who gave it everything until the end. Team and squad which featured on Sunday: Matthew Samuels, David Dolan, Daniel Skene, Sol Trundle, Daniel Meeley, Micheal Sugrue,  Harry Griselain, Paddy Higgins,  Ronan Doyle, Bobby Nugent, Martin O’ Grady. Subs. used. Eoin Reid, Simon O'Boyle, Hughie Cunniffe, Shane O'Boyle. Other subs: Luke Whelan, James Halpin, Fionn McDonnell, Eanna McDonnell, Luke Murphy, James Rourke, Ciaran Cronin, Bryan Armstrong. The Division 1 team are now in search for the league title as they face St Ciarans’ on Sunday next.  The day before, we are also competing in the finals of the Easyfix Tournament which takes place at St Gabriel’s in Kilconnell. Best of luck to management and the players on both days. Full details of both days will be circulated during the week
