St Brigid’s Minor Boys Notes, August 16th 2015

St Brigid’s lost out to a very strong Tulsk team in the Division 3 league on Sunday last in Tulsk. The home side put up a sizable lead at half-time but credit to the St Brigid’s lads, they put in a great second half performance, scoring three goals in the process. Tulsk went on to win the game comfortably in the end but the game would have been much closer if St Brigid’s were not missing a number of players. Special mention must go to the Brigid’s defence and goalkeeper Matthew Samuels who put in a sterling display throughout the game. Team: Matthew Samuels, Oran Benton, David Dolan, Eoin Reid, Paddy Higgins, James Goose, Martin O’Grady, Luke Murphy, Hugh Cunniffe, James Rourke, Luke Whelan. Subs. used. James Halpin, Brendan Murphy, Sean Minnock.
