St. Brigid’s GAA Club Annual Golf Classic 

We would like to thank everyone that took part or sponsored a tee in our Hodson Bay Hotel annual golf classic. It was another successful year and it would not have been possible without the participants and sponsors. Big thanks to Athlone Golf Club for the use of their facilities which were in excellent condition as always and also thank you to all the grounds staff, the Club Golf Pro Kevin Grealy and all the bar and restaurant staff also. 

Well done to P.J Martin for once again organising the classic. 



Junior Championship

St. Brigid's 1-12 vs St Joseph's 1-8


The Snug Bar sponsored Junior team recorded their second win in the group stages of the championship against St. Joseph's in Strokestown on Sunday evening last. Brigid's went in 6 points to 2 points up at half time, however Joseph's fought back in the second half getting a goal midway through the second half leaving Brigids a point down. Brigids kept fighting and Conor Gleeson's goal brought us 2 points up just ahead of injury time and further points in injury time left us ahead with 4 points as the final whistle blew.

Super Valu Kits for Clubs

Please continue to look for vouchers and put them in the St. Brigid's box in store. 

Throughout June and July Super Valu stores will be giving out vouchers with every €20 spent in their stores. In order for our club to available of the O'Neills training kit worth €1200 we need to collect 1000 vouchers. We are asking everyone that shops in Super Valu to please collect the tokens and pop them into the club boxes in store, so we can avail of this brilliant offer. Once again thank you for your continued support. 


Crime Fitness 

For women and men all fitness levels, it consists of Circuit training, Resistance training, Interval training, Military circuits and Endurance training. All newcomers are free on the first night and its 5 euro per session after that, pay as you go. Mondays and Thursday 7-8 pm in St. Brigids Clubhouse. St. Brigid's GAA Club is delighted to announce that our weekly lotto is now available to play on-line, the jackpot, numbers and match three winners is all available also on this website.

The RBK sponsored St Brigid’s minor team played St. Croan's in the first round of championship on Saturday last in Kiltoom. They won well with a final scoreline of 3-17 to 7 points.

The Homewatch sponsored U-14s played St. Ciaran's in division one championship on Saturday evening last in Kiltoom winning 7-17 to 1-6.
The u14 division 4 team played St. Croans on Thursday evening last and won 3-9 to 3-2. 

The O’Rourke Fireplaces sponsored U-8s have an upcoming Go Games Blitz on Saturday, July 26th in Knockcroghery. They will face teams from host club St Dominic's, Clann na nGael, Roscommon Gaels and St Ciaran's.
