U-21s: Well done to the U-21 team on a fantastic victory against Clann na nGael in the championship on Saturday evening last, winning on a scoreline of 0-12 to 1-7. Goalkeeper Shane Mannion saved the day in the dying seconds with a penalty stop, which included saving the rebound.

U-14s: Congratulations to the U-13 Féile team who captured the county title following a hard-earned victory away to a plucky St Dominic’s on Sunday afternoon last.

Final scoreline: St Brigid’s 5-13, St Dominic’s, 3-3.

With the aid of a gale in the first half, St Dominic’s led by seven points at half-time, 3-3 to 1-2. But St Brigid’s didn’t panic, exploiting the wind advantage after the break. They certainly turned on the style in the second half while also keeping the home side scoreless. Going into the final quarter of the game, St Brigid’s nosed in front for the first time thanks to an unanswered 1-5. They continued to kick on and closed out the game in comfortable fashion. St Brigid’s will now represent Roscommon in the Féile completion next summer. Well done to the management and the whole panel for a serious effort all year.
