Honouring of teams of the 50’s and 60’s

St. Brigid’s GAA Club is hosting a function on 19th October to honour the great St. Brigid’s teams from 1952/53, 1958/59 and 1962/63.

For this special occasion we hope that all members of these great teams-players, subs, management can attend.

Four in a Row

We would like to congratulate our fantastic Senior men's team on retaining their county title and making club history by making this the first time the club has won a senior title four years in a row.

We are extremely proud of the team, the management and all the background team that made this victory possible.

We would also like to thank all our brilliant supporters for getting behind the team once again.

Shannonside Fm Senior Men's County Final

St. Brigid's 1-13, Western Gaels 0-9.

Please see sports section for a full match report.

Intermediate Relegation Final

St. Brigid's 1-4, St. Ronan's 1-12.

Unfortunately our intermediate side lost out to St. Ronan's in the relegation play off and are now relegated to Junior A football next year.

We would like to thank the team and management for all their hard work throughout the year.

Please see sports section for a full match report.

Making match DVDS and Video Analysis

St. Brigid's are looking at the possibility of purchasing a package whereby we can record matches and then carry out the breakdown and analysis of games for club teams. We are looking for anyone that would be willing to commit sometime to this, full training on both aspects will be provided.  If you are interested call or text on 0870673985.
