60x30 Emerald Masters All-Ireland Semi-Final

Dermot Doolin and Ger Walsh won their way through to the All-Ireland final of the Emerald Masters (over 55) grade when they beat the Mullins brothers of Tipperary in St. Coman's last Saturday night (13th September 2014)Starting fast the Roscommon pair raced into a 13-0 lead, but once Billy Mullins started to get into the game things got very tight. Tipperary clawed their way back bit by bit and very nearly took an unlikely first game, but Roscommon held on for a 21-19 win. A tactical change of serve from both Roscommon players where they simply served straight down the right side to the much weaker Pakie Mullins made the second game a far easier one than the first and with Doolin killing some delightful shots in the right corner they won comfortably 21-9.
