Minors: It was a mixed week for the minors, winning against Padraig Pearses in Woodmount on Tuesday last while losing away to St Ciaran’s on Thursday last. St Brigid’s defeated Pearses on a scoreline of 3-13 to 1-3 while St Ciaran’s took the points on a scoreline of 3-14 to 1-1. U-14s: The U-14s got their league season off to a winning start when accounting for Roscommon Gaels in Lisnamult last Thursday on a scoreline of 4-15 to 2-8. Team and scorers v  Roscommon Gaels: James Downes, Luke Griselain, Darragh Murray, Gary Daly (1-0), Mark Haran, Adam Murtagh, Ciaran Quinn, Shane Cunnane, Billy McDonnell (0-2), Ian O’Rourke (1-4), Ciaran Sugrue (0-3), Danny McDermott (0-1), Tom O’ Carroll (0-2), Jack Schouler, Robbie Dolan (1-1). Subs used: Cathal O’ Grady for G. Daly; Patrick O’Boyle for Grislin, Cian Daly for Murtagh, Liam Martin for A. Haran, Evan Gallagher for Tom O’Carroll and Ruairi Smith (1-3) for J. Schouler. Other subs: Paul McGrath and Diarmuid Glynn. The other Division 4 game scheduled at home to Western Gaels on the same evening was cancelled. The next game is fixed for this Friday, April 18th, against Oran in Kiltoom.

Camps: Applications are invited from third level students, who have experience in coaching underage players, to apply for coaching positions on Kellogg’s GAA Football and Hurling Cúl Camps in the county this summer.
