Minors: The minor team lost at home to Padraig Pearses in the league last week. Trailing 0-10 to 0-4 at half-time, St Brigid’s worked very hard to get back into the game and were trailing by just two points before Pearses finished the stronger on a scoreline of 0-16 to 0-9. Team and scorers: Shane Mannion, Ciaran Walsh, Keith Dolan, Jason Nestor, Eoin Gleeson, Robbie Fallon, Martin Nolan(0-1), Eamon Cunnane, Mark Daly(0-3), Killian O’Donnell(0-1), John Cunningham, Luke Carty(0-1), Jack McDonnell(0-2), Conor Gleeson, Conor Quinn(0-1). U-16s: The U-16s took part in a very successful St Dominic’s 11-a-side blitz held in Knockcroghery last Saturday. Having won their three preliminary games during the day, St Brigid’s progressed to the semi-final but were beaten by the host club St Dominics. The U-16s next focus is on the championship and will be hoping to continue their unbeaten run in this competition when they play Padraig Pearses this Friday evening, May 17th, at 7pm in Woodmount.

U-14s: The U-14s game against Roscommon Gaels last Thursday was postponed. They are now scheduled to play Oran at home this Thursday, May 16th, at 7 pm.

U-12s: The U-12s lost out to Oranmore in the Easyfix tournament last Sunday on a combined scoreline of 7-4 to 2-5.
