Minor Notes October 6th 2013

U-12s: The Millmount Maintenance Services sponsored U-12s recorded a win and a loss over St Dominic's and Boyle respectively in the final rounds of the Summer League. In the Division 1 game away to St Dominic’s on Thursday last, the team won on a scoreline of 6-14 to 2-2. In the Division 2 game played in Kiltoom on Sunday, Boyle prevailed by 2-14 to 0-10.

U-10s: The Sheraton Hotel sponsored St Brigid’s team put in three great performances when they travelled to Corofin on Saturday last to play the host club, winning two out of three of the games. Well done to all the lads. U-8s: The O’Rourke Fireplace sponsored U-8s brought a busy footballing year to a close by competing in the St. Dominic’s tournament in Knockcroghery on Saturday last. With three teams taking part, there was plenty of football played in games against the host club and Clann na nGael. Unfortunately, the U-8s were beaten by eventual and deserved winners St Dominic’s. The management would like to thank all players who trained throughout the year and especially the parents for bringing them.
