Minors: Hard luck to the RBK sponsored minors who were defeated by a very strong Clann na nGael side in the championship quarter-final in Johnstown on Friday last. Final scoreline: 1-16 to 2-2. The St Brigid’s team worked hard throughout and all five substitutes also made an impact when they came on. There is plenty to be encouraged about given there were a number of key players missing and 14 of the team that finished the game are underage again next year. Team: Shane Mannion(0-1), Sean McBrearty, Keith Dolan, Jason Nestor, Robbie Fallon, Brian Stack, Alan Daly, Eamon Cunnane, Mark Daly, Killian O’Donnell, John Cunningham, Luke Carty (1-0), Jack McDonnell (0-1), Diarmuid Colgan, Conor Quinn (1-0), Subs: Conor Murray for D. Colgan, Conor McNiece for K. Dolan, Ciaran Walshe for J. Nestor, Ross Flanagan for R. Fallon, Martin Nolan for J. Cunningham.

U-16s: The Derek Duggan Travel sponsored U-16s will be preparing this week for their next big game, which is the championship semi-final against Kilmore/Shannon Gaels.

U-14s: Best of luck to the D & M O'Grady Builders sponsored U-14 team who play Clann na nGael in the Division 1 Championship Final on Friday next in Ballyforan at 7pm.

U-12s: In the latest round of the Summer league, the Millmount Maintenance Services sponsored U-12s recorded a win and a loss against Eire Og and St Michaels respectively. Players will be notified of upcoming match details in due course.

U-10s: The Sheraton Hotel sponsored U-10s put in good performances away to Clann na nGael in the Clann na nGael tournament on Wednesday last and are still in a good position to defend the title they won last year. The final group game in the tournament is against Garrycastle and players will be notified of the details during the week. On Saturday last, the squad played host to a visiting Annaghdown team and the games proved to be very good work-outs for the  players. The squad will be involved in another Go Games Blitz on Saturday next, September 14th in St Ciarans, Fuerty. St Brigid’s will be playing the host club, Roscommon Gaels and Padraig Pearses.

U-8s: The O’Rourke Fireplace sponsored U-8s enjoyed another Go Games Blitz which took place in Kiltoom on Saturday last. Thanks to the Padraig Pearses, Roscommon Gaels and St Ciaran's teams who contributed to a very successful day.
